1. General Information
Alax Pacha Peru is a travel agency specializing in adventure, cultural, and ecological tourism in Peru. By booking our services, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this document.
2. Reservations and Payments
2.1. Booking Procedure
Reservations can be made through our website, email, or by contacting our team directly. To confirm a reservation, a deposit or full payment for the selected package is required.
2.2. Payment Methods
We accept payments via bank transfers, credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.), as well as other authorized payment platforms.
2.3. Pricing Policy
Prices include the services specified in the itinerary, such as accommodation, transportation, and guided activities. Personal expenses, tips, and services not mentioned are not included. Prices may be subject to change due to external factors.
2.4. Payment Deadlines
Full payment must be made before the scheduled travel date.
3. Cancellations and Refund Policy
3.1. Cancellations by the Client
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. The refund policy is as follows:
More than 30 days before the trip: 80% refund.
Between 15 and 30 days before: 50% refund.
Less than 15 days before: No refunds.
3.2. Cancellations by Alax Pacha Peru
In the event of unforeseen circumstances (such as extreme weather conditions or political unrest), we reserve the right to cancel tours. Alternative arrangements or partial refunds will be offered, as appropriate.
3.3. Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed within a specified timeframe, less administrative costs.
4. Changes to Travel Plans
4.1. Changes Requested by the Client
Any changes to a confirmed reservation are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
4.2. Changes Made by the Agency
Alax Pacha Peru reserves the right to modify itineraries for operational, safety, or environmental reasons, ensuring suitable alternatives are available.
5. Client Responsibilities
5.1. Documentation
The client is responsible for having all necessary documentation for the trip, including valid passports, visas, and required permits.
5.2. Physical and Health Conditions
Participants must be in good physical condition to participate in the scheduled activities. Any relevant medical conditions must be reported to the agency.
5.3. Conduct
Clients are expected to respect local customs, follow the guides’ instructions, and act responsibly towards the environment and others. The agency reserves the right to terminate services in the event of inappropriate behavior.
6. Agency Responsibilities
6.1. Service Quality
We are committed to providing the services as specified in the itinerary, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
6.2. Limitations of Liability
Alax Pacha Peru is not responsible for:
Delays or cancellations caused by third-party providers.
Loss or theft of personal belongings.
Events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or political unrest.
7. Travel Insurance
It is strongly recommended that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, cancellations, and loss of belongings. Alax Pacha Peru is not responsible for incidents that could be covered by such insurance.
8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
8.1. Complaints
Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the completion of the trip. Our team will address them fairly and promptly.
8.2. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of Peru. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of the city of Cusco.
